Luke 2:14

“Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men.”

There is one particularly exciting aspect about the Holidays, and that is the wonderful and blessed opportunity to be with family and friends. Any time that we can come together in fellowship and spend time in the harmony of the Holy Spirit with our family members or close friends, that is the blessing of God upon us.

Sometimes we can focus too much on the hustle and bustle of the season, or perhaps how much we don’t like the hustle and bustle of the season, and miss out on all the blessings God bestows. If you have a family to spend the next few days with, cherish their presence. Be thankful for them and you’ll find that things will be less stressed and arguments won’t break out as much. Thanksgiving for the many blessings we have shuts out a great deal of tension and useless bickering.

Focus on the beauty of what Christ has done for you. Focus on the value of the birth, life, death, and resurrection of Christ is to you. Celebrate the gift of family and friends. Cherish this time.

It may be the last Christmas season you will ever have, so why not spend it thanking God for His many blessings. Why not spend it in thanksgiving and praise to His name?

As Brother Branham said, “You love each other? [Congregation says "Amen."—Ed.] Turn around and shake hands with each other, say, "God bless you. Christ be with you." Instead of "Merry Christmas," say, "Christ be with you," as you turn around” (49-1225 - “The Deity Of Jesus Christ”).

58-1221M - “Where Is He, King Of The Jews?”

On the eve of this great Christmas, when, little do we know but this may be the last one of these we'll ever set together in. And we would ask that the Son of the living God would dwell in our midst this morning, and speak to us His kindness and His mercy, and give unto us pardoning of our sins. And we would not to forget, Lord, those who are afflicted and needy of Thy healing touch; the same God Who let little Ricky to live, brought back the dead as Thou has promised that You would do in the last days… And Your Words are true. We believe that You're here this morning, omnipresent, and is more than willing to do the exceeding abundantly, above all that we could ask or think. We wait on Thee, Father, in the Name of the Lord Jesus Thy Son. Amen.
