James 2:13
“For he shall have judgment without mercy, that hath shewed no mercy; and mercy rejoiceth against judgment.”
Do you really know that mercy rewrote your life? The song that we sing, “Mercy Rewrote My Life”, says that we should have fallen, and our souls cast down, but it was God’s mercy that rewrote the story of our lives. How true this is.

I would not be the one who would say that God’s mercy is not available to anyone who needs it. The Apostle Paul said we must come boldly before the Throne of Grace in order that we could receive God’s mercy.  All men are subject to errors because we are human beings. We will be tempted and prodded by our enemy until the Day of Redemption is complete, and the Bride is gone.

Jesus said in Matthew 5:7, “Blessed are the merciful, for they shall receive mercy.” If this is the example laid down in Scripture, then why would we want to cast down those around us who need God’s mercy? Abraham Lincoln said , “I have always found that mercy bears richer fruits than strict justice.” God is the judge, and vengeance is His, so why not be merciful to those around you?

God’s mercy has rewritten the story of your life.

Now that's us. Any man, any man is subject to mistakes. He is subject to error because He is human. He is subject to the violations of God's laws. And he is subject to many things, because Satan tempts him, and he is just a human being. And if God ever lifted His hands, he would fall. That's all. And I've heard people say, "Oh, Satan can't do that." Yes, you just let God lift His hand one time, and watch what happens. It's a… I constantly plead, "God, don't send him. Have mercy on me. Keep him away from me," you see. I—I need God's mercy. And we all need that.
