Hebrews 13:8, “Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever.”

The only thing that is constant in this life is change. In this day and age things like politics, technology, and even people can change very quickly. Without rhyme or reason things can go in completely different directions to the norm. This is the way the world is and this is the way Satan’s Eden works. We adapt to this change and we move forward as Believers. But living in a world like this can cause stress and challenges to any individual.

Although the world is like this, fortunately for us, God is not this way. God is the same today as He was yesterday and as He promises to be tomorrow. This is something that the Believer can hold onto and count on. This is something that quietens anxiety and calms the fear of uncertainty.

Your life might change, your thinking may change, your circumstances will change. But this one thing you must remember; His love is no less true. Remember His power is no less powerful. His mercy is no less real, His grace no less accessible, nor His life no less alive. Your spiritual life may be suffering, but He is still on the throne ready to welcome you back on course. Your circumstances may seem crazy, but He is perfectly on cue.

Remember, He is the same yesterday, today, and forever.
