Ephesians 3:17

“That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love”.

A lot of people can live without God, few people can live with Him.

When we think of Moses and his relationship with God, we might wonder, “How is such a relationship possible? What did Moses have that I don’t have?”. You strive to live a Christian life, yet you may feel you gain no ground. Yet Moses was a man who killed a man, then spent 40 years in the wilderness, and still God considered him to be His friend. How could this be?

Perhaps you just need to keep walking and keep pressing forward. Perhaps God is working on something deep down inside you that not even you can see. Maybe He has you right where He wants you, but you don’t feel Him like you want to feel Him. Moses experienced something very similar and God was working on him over all that time. God’s eye is never off of His children. He knows where you are and what you are doing. It takes faith to press on. It is hard to live a Christian life, but few people can walk with God like a Believer does.

The Believer waits upon the Lord for guidance and instruction. Even when they don’t know what is going on, or why things are happening the way they are. God gave them a change of nature when they were born again, and though they might wonder, they keep pressing on. Christ is rooted in their hearts by faith.

Lots of people can go their own way and do their own thing. But only a special group of people, called the Bride of Christ, can live with Him; waiting and seeking Him, even when they don’t understand and don’t hear from Him right away.

Just keep pressing on. Allow the Holy Spirit to be rooted deep down in your heart.

55-1110 - “A Hidden Life In Christ”

With outstretched arms, appear to each one of them, and take them into the courts of God now. And may they be consecrated, from this night on. May the Holy Ghost in glory, just now overshadow each one of them and give them into their heart that deep, settled, sweet disposition; oh, that you can live with God: a disposition, a change of nature, that makes them love You and not question You, but just go on living for You, consecrated and filled with Your Spirit. God, may it be settled in every heart here tonight as they're praying. We love You, Jesus.
