Isaiah 62:11-12

“Behold, the Lord hath proclaimed unto the end of the world, Say ye to the daughter of Zion, Behold, thy salvation cometh; behold, his reward is with him, and his work before him. And they shall call them, The holy people, The redeemed of the Lord: and thou shalt be called, Sought out, A city not forsaken.”

The Hebrew word that Isaiah writes is gaal, meaning “The redeemed of the Lord.” It means the specially chosen people that Christ atoned for, bought back, and freed from captivity of sin by securing the price. The redemption story is their story.

The redemption story is the Seven Seals. Written as mysteries and hidden from the wise and prudent down through the ages, they confound the wisest of theologians. It was only to His Bride that Christ would reveal their true meaning. Isaiah says, “His reward is with them, his work is before them, they shall call them the Holy People, the redeemed of the Lord.” Who else could this be but the true Church, the Bride of Jesus Christ.

When the Lamb comes forward to call for what He has redeemed, it will be a glorious day indeed. Fortunately for us, this is the time when that is to take place. According to Scriptural prophecy there is nothing left to happen, except the rapture of the Bride. The most reassuring truth in all of this is that God chose you before the foundation of the world to be a part of this and redeemed you for it.

It is not some far off reality, because you are His reality. Your faith was a gift from God, and it is that faith that links you to this glorious thing we hope for. Your faith is the evidence of what we do not see as yet. You were predestined to be in this.

Aren’t you glad it is close at hand. Are you waiting, anticipating, and living as the redeemed of Christ? The debt you could not pay has been paid, so relax. You are the redeemed.

63-1130E - “Go, Awake Jesus”

That Church is a predestinated Church. Every name that was ever put on that Book, Jesus came to redeem. And when the last name is redeemed, the Book is closed. Now, He didn't intend that no one would be lost, but His foreknowledge let Him know who would be lost. Therefore, He could predestinate, and then their names were put on the Book. And then when that Book of redemption is closed and sealed with seven seals, while it's being worked out by the—by the mysterious powers of God. And someday when the Book of redemption is finished, the Lamb takes It. And then the last name is called off of that, the Lamb comes forward to call for what He has redeemed, that's His Church. And I believe that time is close at hand.
