Romans 12:2

And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

Don’t be conformed and fashioned from the outside inward. Be transformed instead. Be transformed by the renewing of your mind. The third step to finding the perfect will of God is to be transformed, by the renewing of your mind.

The Greek is “anakainósis”, meaning, “renewing or changing of the heart and mind.” Paul is saying to renew the reason, the faculty, and the intellect by a transformation.  Be transformed from your current state of mind to a different state of mind. That “different” state of mind is the mind of Christ.

We are to be transformed from our own minds, and to put that away; to come to Christ with every ounce of intellect we have and lay it at the feet of God, so we can take on His mind, and think clearly and intelligently through the filter of His Word. It literally means to be brainwashed into His Word. If you really believe Christ is the creator of the universe, and your Savior, then who wouldn’t want to take on His thinking and His mind?

Is your relationship with the Lord being renewed by the Word for this day? Is your mind so stayed on the conformed and deceitful ways of the world that you can’t take on His mind? This happens on a daily basis, for your mind to be transformed by the power of God by the continual renewing of your mind back to the Word and, by that transformation, to take on the mind of Christ.

Step three in finding the perfect will of God is to allow your mind to be transformed by the continual renewing of your mind back to the Word, to take on His mind.

48-0304 - “The Angel Of God”

I will grant you this. It is psychology in this way. If… "Psyche," of course means "mind." And It's the mind of Christ, that the human being has the privilege to enter in, and know the mind of Christ… Hallelujah. My, what a—a reality to dwell in the channel of Christ. We unworthy mortals have been brought in to be sons and daughters of God to be fellow citizens in—in… Oh my. I get to shouting when I get… Notice. Into that realm where even Angels can't come… Say, "Angels?" Yes, sir. We're sons and daughters; Angels are servants. That's right. The servants cannot go where sons and daughter will go. They can't enter into that relationship, for they're servants, and we're sons and daughters.
