I John 4:7-8
“Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God. He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love.”

We should never limit our love to an inner circle of individuals. If we limit our love for one another to just our families, just to our church, just to our Message, then we are not reflecting the attribute of God in the right way. God went to the sinners and the rejects of society. Does this mean we walk into bars and start witnessing? Well, that’s not recommended by anyone. Remember, that’s the devil’s playground when we do that. Of course we love being with the people closest to us that we are comfortable around, but we can’t push people away just because we aren’t close to them yet.
What we must never do is limit God’s ability to change a person. If we love only those who we think are “called,” and those who we think are “perfect”, then we limit the power of God to change someone. God changed you, didn’t He? If we draw a circle around our Church family and immediate family and then we say, “We should be a witness, sure!”, and never follow up on it, we just limited God. God is not willing that any should perish, and neither should we.

Unfortunately, not everyone will be saved, and not everyone will receive the Truth. This is something we have to come to understand. The greatest power that we have is prayer, and we cannot correctly pray for those not in the faith if we cannot genuinely love those around us. We have to have the right attitude toward those who do not believe, then we can correctly pray for God to move on their hearts. You can’t bluff this, it just doesn’t work that way.

We have to love one another.

And if we can’t love one another, how are we going to love God Whom we haven’t seen. See? We must find the vein. We’ve got to love one another. Though we different, you got to love anyhow. You can’t bluff it. You got to really do it. You got to. And that… The greatest power I’ve found in healing, is love, when you have sympathy and love for the people, trying to help them.
