Ephesians 5:14-15

Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid. Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house.

Have you ever taken a really good look at the moon? I remember the first time I looked through a high powered telescope in a university observatory, I could see the hills and canyons, and the shadows of the mountains on the surface. It was incredible to think that the big ball of mass I was looking at got all of its light directly from the sun. The moon is what gives the night time its only source of light.

Do you fully understand that you are the only spiritual light this world will ever see, knowing we are in the night cycle? Do you fully comprehend that you are the only source of Christ that individuals will see on this earth? It is Christ in us that is our hope of glory, and because He lives through us, when somebody looks at you they should see Christ.

What do people see when they look at you? Are your fashions so close to the world that nobody could ever see any difference?

The Word living in us produces the only light that the world living in darkness will ever see. Strive to let your light so shine before men. Show them the attributes of God can live in a person's soul, even though they are just normal human beings. Don’t hide your light out of shame for the gospel, or smother it with worldly things so that no one can see it, shine your light high so that others can see it.

Let your light shine high so that the last elected seed can see it and we can get out of this present world and all go home to glory. Are you letting your light shine?

64-1212 - “The Harvest Time”

We as Christians are only reflecting Him. The moon only reflects the sun, in its absence. And the believer only reflects the Son of God, in the absence of the Son of God. It's the Light of the Bible, the Scriptures, being vindicated in our lives, the Word that makes Light in darkness. You are candles that sets upon a hill. That ain't the sun; it's a candle. The candle just takes the place of the sun, just shows a certain amount of light. We are God's children, we are sons and daughters of God, only by the Spirit with portion. He had It without a portion. We are a star that's shining, all of us together make a Light to the world, but He is the entire Son that reflects the Light to every star. Hallelujah! I believe Him. God help my unbelief!
