Proverbs 6:16-19
“These six things doth the Lord hate: yea, seven are an abomination unto him: A proud look, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood, An heart that deviseth wicked imaginations, feet that be swift in running to mischief, A false witness that speaketh lies, and he that soweth discord among brethren.”
How would you like it if you were accused of something that you did not do and you were tried for it? The prosecutor brings a person up to witness against you, someone who had no connection of the alleged crime, yet this person begins to tell lies about what you did and falsely accuses you. They tell lies and half-truths against you and confuse the jury. It wouldn’t feel very good having that happen, most likely. This kind of behavior is something that God hates.

God hates a false witness, someone that speaks lies, or even someone that shares half truths about things. This kind of person has no place in the kingdom of God. A false witness does not have any positive effect, only a backwards or negative one. Something that is bearing the wrong ideas or facts is only causing unnecessary trouble and does not advance a cause, or a situation, toward any positive outcome. For this reason, God hates this behavior.

In order to be effective in the Kingdom of God, we have to be honest and tell the truth. A person who constantly lies, or even misrepresents the truth even a little, does not do this and therefore causes all kinds of trouble. We should be solely focused on being the right kind of a witness for God, not one that misrepresents His Truth.

Let’s be the right kind of witnesses for God.

Now, if He’s the same High Priest, He will act in the same way if you can touch Him. Now, how many people here won’t be in the prayer line tomorrow night, who hasn’t got no prayer card, but you believe that you have faith to touch Him in glory, raise your hand. All right. Now, if thou canst believe… Now, this is the showdown. This is when God’s Word has to be true or be wrong. I’m either a true witness of God, or a false witness of God. God will testify, then let Him be the Judge.
