Revelations 21:3-7

And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God. And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away. And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful. And he said unto me, It is done. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life freely. He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son.

Have you ever felt unhappy, and you really had no idea why? Sometimes being “happy” can be an elusive quest for most people. Even for a Believer, there can be long spans of time where you do not feel “happy”. Things, such as entertainment or vacations, bring you temporary relaxation, only to have the business of life heap stress back into the equation immediately afterward. You feel caught in a never ending struggle of unhappiness. In this day and age, real happiness can seem to constantly elude humanity.  This is a trap of the enemy.

Despite these abysmal facts, there is always one sure stronghold for a Believer: joy. “The joy of our salvation”, as David penned it in Psalm 51, is one thing we can rely on from the Lord. Although life may throw its worst at you, there is still that sure realization of the glory that awaits you on the other side as a born again Believer.

You probably have many things going on in your life right now that you could worry about. You may feel very unhappy and at a loss for what to do about your circumstances. Trust your life to the only One who is capable of calming a raging sea. Allow Him to restore the joy of your salvation to you and calm your nerves.

Seeing that you are genuinely saved as a born again Holy Ghost-filled believer, why do you really need to worry about your circumstances and situations? This is easier said than done, but all things are possible through Christ who gives us strength.

Let the joy of your salvation be restored unto you today.

Isn't it a wonderful hope to know that these old frail, fragile bodies that we're living in and these little, brittle threads of life that we're walking on, someday will give away, and every mortal wheel that's turning will stop, and we'll take a trip over to Zion's Hill to live in the Presence of God forever, back a new man and a new woman, young and in the splendor of youth and be that way forever. Though we'll be young there forever, transformed in a moment of time, immortal, she'll shine in His likeness, the stars and the sun to outshine. What a glorious assurance we have of this because God's eternal Word Who's been true in all ages has promised it to the believer. What have we got to worry about? Not a thing, but just be happy about it.
