John 15:19

If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you.

It can seem hard sometimes living in this world and remaining aware of the Presence of the Lord. Once you have the revelation that it is Christ in you the hope of glory, it becomes easier. However, the fact remains that it is hard living in a world that you are not made for. The feelings associated with this truth are likened to you going against the grain or you swimming upstream.

Life is meant to be difficult for the Believer, because it makes us run even faster toward the open arms of the Lord Jesus, our very present help in the time of need. Therefore, being that life is hard living in a world we are not of, we must learn to live in a constant state of devotion and awareness of our Lord. Completely selling out to Jesus Christ is not just a cliche, but a necessity for the Believer in this life.

The attributes of God are a result of a devoted and consecrated life to God. When you try to act as if  you have the attributes of God without having the Holy Ghost sealed into you, your devotion and consecration will waver and toss with every wind that blows. This world will eventually make you, and those around you, aware of what is really inside you. Let the Lord in and make Him welcome.

Keep aware of the Pillar of Fire that leads you. Live a consecrated life daily, hourly, and live in the Shekinah Glory.

And as we’d call it sanctification, they thought when they shouted they really had it; the Methodists and Nazarenes said, “Boy, that’s it, as soon as you shout.” But they found out they didn’t have It. The Pentecostals, boy, when they spoke with tongues, they really had It. But they find out they didn’t. It doesn’t lie upon shouting or speaking with tongues. Those things are all right. But to have Him is different. That’s attributes of Him. That’s right. We… It means a sold out consecrated daily, hourly, live in the Shekinah Glory with Him all the time. That’s right. Not as I’m saying things against shouting or speaking with tongues. That’s fine. That’s the attributes of the Holy Ghost and so forth. We need all those things, but yet that’s not it. That’s not it. It’s that hidden consecrated life. Remember, those people out in the courts was eating the same kind of manna they was in here behind the golden omer, back in behind the holiest of holies.
