Mark 4:26-29

And he said, So is the kingdom of God, as if a man should cast seed into the ground; And should sleep, and rise night and day, and the seed should spring and grow up, he knoweth not how. For the earth bringeth forth fruit of herself; first the blade, then the ear, after that the full corn in the ear. But when the fruit is brought forth, immediately he putteth in the sickle, because the harvest is come.

In 1973, Brothers Lawrence & Frank Liaubach wrote a famous piece of Christian literature called “Practising His Presence”. In the book, one of them writes, "At times, I feel my whole mind and heart being raised up into God’s presence, as if, without effort, they had always belonged there." When you experience the Presence of God like this and know that you have experienced the Lord in this unique way, you will never be the same person.

You will never get to the point where you have had enough of the Lord’s presence. We must practice being in His presence and make Him feel welcome in our lives, because it is only in His presence that we will become mature, and, thereby, receive our translation into Glory.

Brother Branham explained to us that the only place that a seed can grow is in the presence of the sun. In order for a plant to grow correctly and for the seed to bring forth the life that lays inside of it, it must lay in the presence of the sun and have adequate water. He explained many times that the natural type is the same as the spiritual.

You cannot expect the eternal seed of God to grow within you if you do not let it dwell in the correct presence. It takes laying in the presence of God for the life of God that dwells within you to grow and mature into what God intended it to be. As we continue to lay in God’s presence and mature and ripen, the attributes of God will begin to show and operate through us. We will eventually come to God’s idea of maturity, and we will be translated.

It has never been based on our opinion of ourselves for God to receive us home. But the maturity of the eternal seed in us has always been what it should be through God’s eyes. He knows where you need to be to be ready and only in His presence can you become what He sees you as in His mind.

The fruit is now on the vine and it is the harvest season. So continue to lay yourself in the presence of God so that you can continue to grow and ripen in spiritual maturity.
It won’t be long now before that great combine comes by and picks us up to go to the garner. The Lord is coming soon, so let us just dwell in the presence of God and be ripened and matured until He is ready to take us home.

40 I believe the church is beginning to hear the Message, and begin to understand. But, friends, listen, we’ve got to lay in the Presence of the Son, we’ve got to be ripened. Our—our faith isn’t ripe. Intellectually we’re hearing the Message that God has give us, and seeing the signs that He showed us, and proving it by the Bible, it’s there, but, oh, how the church needs to lay in His Presence till it tenders up, you know, and gets sweet in the Spirit so that it can bathe down. Sometime in speaking the Message, you get harsh, have to break it in like that, because you’ve got to clinch a nail to make it hold. But when the Church once gets It, the Elected is called out and separated, then in the Presence of God, I know it’ll be something like the people was there when it takes its Rapture.
