1 Corinthians 12:14

For the body is not one member, but many.

Every single person on earth has a special purpose for being here. You have a purpose for being here. You were fearfully and wonderfully created by God (Psalm 139). You play a specific part in God’s plan and creation. Even though sometimes you may feel like you aren’t important in the Kingdom of God, you must remember that the Lord is always concerned about you.

Take the Boeing 747 airliner for an example. Even the smallest bolt on a jumbo jet plays a specific role in the jet taking off and landing successfully. The parts are all designed and manufactured in different locations across the globe. They might each look obscure and strange, until the parts are bolted or snapped into their places. It is only when the plane is flying at top speed with 416 passengers in its cabins that you really understand the benefit of each piece. When you have flown as many times as I have, you become very thankful for each nut and bolt. When you are flying at 570 miles per hour, each part is important.

You are important to the Lord because Scripture says that you were fearfully and wonderfully made. You were designed not only as one member, but as a part of the whole; to accomplish the mighty plan of God. You need the other members of the Bride of Christ as much as they need you.

Pray for one another, encourage one another, and let the love of God flow freely. But never forget that you are important to the Lord, and He designed you for a specific purpose.

Now, one of these days the Body's going to come together just like that. That's right. Just like Solomon's temple, cut out all over the world. But when it come together, there wasn't a buzz of a saw or a sound of a hammer. It went right straight together. Every mis-fit cube went right to its right place, and there it fit together. That's the way the Body of Christ will go when Jesus comes. She'll go up just arm in arm (That's right.) to meet the Lord.
